Talk about a first-world crisis. My computer, which I've had since 2008, has started to die on me. It'a starting to unload kernel panic after kernel panic (it's a Mac; that's all I know about it) and now it won't even turn on properly. This may be because of Photoshop, or it's age. Either way, it's the only immediate medium I have for DA work, as well as all other pieces for Art. This unsavory situation, unfortunately, is going to cause me to have to initiate the following plan of action:
1 - Drastic Hiatus: My computer will most likely remain off from now on. I'll try to pop up once in a while using my iPhone, or if I can get the screen on my iMac to work, but until I can save up enough for a new machine, and new software, this may be the new norm for me.
2 - Work Prioritization: I am going to have to funnel all the time available into work higher up on my priority list. If the kernel panics are in fact caused by Photoshop, I am going to have to limit all my work on my Mac to written pieces.
3 - Satellite Machine: I will be using other computers if I can gain access to them. However, they may not all have Photoshop, so my work will still remain limited.
I will not sign off here. This is not a farewell, only a notification.
However, I will say that I'm terribly sorry about this mess. I intend to rectify it soon. Thank you all for your support and patience.
